Y3: Read the time to 5 minutes on an analogue clock and a 12-hour digital clock, and use the notation 9:40. NC Understanding measures d) Read the time from analogue and digital 12- and 24-hour clocks; use of time - seconds, minutes, hours... and know the relationship between them. Learning outcomes (Scotland): Time: Level A: Tell the time in whole hours using digital and analogue displays. Level b: Read time in hours and minutes using digital displays.
